Green programming includes e.g. longevity, simplicity, quality, efficiency, accessibility, refinability, enhancability, adaptivity, scalability, robustness, and stability of IT solutions. In specific the track covers service orientation in IT and solutions related to topics as improving energy efficiency, energy informatics and IT components to control renewable energies, technologies which use existing resources more efficiently like sustainable grid computing, alternative control strategies like distributed control for better efficiency, etc.
